Procedure
Applications must be submitted in two ways:
- ONLINE on the HSB website
- Two printed/hard copies posted to the HSB Office
Attention! Only those applications will be considered that the Hungarian Scholarship Board Office receives electronically as well as in printed format by 15th April 2011.
- ONLINE: uploading the application materials on the HSB website
Before starting your online procedure please read the full text of our „Call for Applications” carefully, and after you have decided which scholarship type you would like to apply for, check the list of documents to be submitted. All the documents must have an electronic format, and the certificates, recommendation letters, etc. must be scanned. After you have written/received/scanned all the necessary documents, we recommend you to save them in a folder on your computer so that you can attach them easily when it is required in the process of online application. The online application system will be open from the beginning of February. Applicants are requested to follow the website of HSB - www.scholarship.hu - from the beginning of 2011.
Will you save the USER name and PASSWORD by the end of your study visit, because those applicants who were awarded a scholarship will be asked via email to write a report after finishing their scholarship studies/research. This report has to be written in the online application system.
Deadline of ONLINE application: 15th April 2011 (midnight)
- Printed/HARD COPIES: must be sent to the following address in two (2) copies:

Deadline: 15 April 2011 (as per postmark)
For those applying under the system of bilateral agreements the application deadline will be determined by the national scholarship offices/Ministries of Education.
Attention! Please, keep one hard copy of your application documents because you will need to attach them in the online system.
Incomplete applications or ones submitted after the deadline will not be considered.
Application documents shall not be returned!
